Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about temporary RTSP tokens, TURN relays, and security.

Why do free RTSP stream tokens expire after 10 minutes?

Token expiration protects server bandwidth, prevents unauthorized permanent hotlinking, and ensures privacy-focused, temporary video access.

What happens if I refresh the web page during an active session?

Your active session is restored automatically! The existing RTSP link, selected stream channel, and server-synced countdown timer will display without generating a new token.

Can I switch stream channels while a link is active?

Yes. Selecting a new stream channel instantly provisions a new link for that channel while automatically revoking the previous link.

Do I need to register an account or install software?

No registration or account is required for free tiers. You can view streams instantly using any standard RTSP-compatible video player such as VLC, MPV, OBS, or mobile apps.

What is the TURN/STUN WebRTC Relay service?

Our TURN/STUN relay node service helps WebRTC applications bypass restrictive NATs and firewalls, offering anonymous 100 MB allocations and high-bandwidth Starter (50 GB) and Pro (500 GB) plans.

Can I revoke an active stream link early?

Yes. Clicking the "Revoke Link" button immediately invalidates the stream token on our server and disconnects active viewers.
